Update- Weather & Kid's Klub

 I just wanted to update everyone on #1 Weather:  I am down to only two (yes two) layers.  Look at this great picture..snow up in the mountains but melting away down here in Aliabad. The sun is out and it is a beautiful day.  Yes, God loves me this week!! It is in the high 40's...

#2 Update - My kids club on Thursday had 31 students.  Of those 31, 4 of the students were from different schools in the village.  Our camp song this week was 5 little ducks.  I had 5 children come up as we sang the song, one would leave the room at the end of each verse until they all left. Then when the sad mother duck quake I opened the door and they all came back in.  I had to do that song 4 times because they all wanted a turn to be a duck!  Thank you again Bible group as the white boards and markers sure came in handy.  I was suppose to start club at 2 PM but the kids were waiting for me at 1:15 outside the classroom.  So I let the early birds in and gave them a white board, marker and a large flash card.  They had to draw the picture on the white board.  Then I showed it to the other students and asked questioned about the picture and at the end, ask the students to vote for their favorite picture. And of course the winner received candy.  Our club lasted until after 3 PM.  I asked a few of the older students who English was more advance to stay after club and I worked with them on the Sentence game that my women's group also included with my supplies.  The older students had fun but also enjoyed learning new sentences.  I finished with them about 4 PM and went home, extremely tired I might add.  All the struggles and challenges makes it all worth while when you know that these children are learning something and are having fun.
