Jerusalem

It only took an hour by mini bus to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv. My hostel was very close to the center. I took a walking tour of the old city in Jerusalem.  These tours are fabulous and free (just tip the tour guide at the end) and the guide was extremely knowledgeable.  There is the Jewish, Armenia, Muslin and Christian quarters.  I went to the wailing wall and I have to say it was very emotional.  The Church of the Holy Sepulcher was where Christ  was crucified and buried and it is in the Christian Quarter (of course).  This church is so beautiful and it is worshiped by hundred of thousands of people yearly.  Another lesson I learned from the tour guide, there are 5 different orders that holds this church so if they want any improvement done they must get the approval of ALL of the orders.  Well, no remodeling has ever been done as none of the orders can agree!! Lots of alleys and nooks, very easy to get lost.  I was told to get out you just need to go up. And it is true, I just walked up a zillion stairs and out I came!!! Here are the pictures of my two days here in Jerusalem:
