BUTCH UPDATE:  We found a home for Butch and her kittens.  They are in Baku with an Azeri family and they have a garden so they have lots of room to roam and play.  And Bounty, Jr. Mint and Snickers are at the Greyfoot Cat Rescue Sanctuary in Oak View, California and all are doing well.  If you want to adopt or help out at the sanctuary please call Joan at (805) 649-2844

My COS (close of service) is June 15th and on the 16th I will leave Zaqatala and go to Georgia to meet up with a couple of PCV's for good-byes and then from Tbilisi I will fly to Israel for two weeks.  I am hiking the Jesus trail from Nazareth to Capernaum it is 68 kilometers and I will do it in 5 days.  I am also visiting Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Petra in Jordan.  My next stop is Tokyo, Japan where I plan to hike Mt. Fuji. I scheduled about 6 days there.  Then I am off to Beijing, China.   I will schedule the rest of my trip once I am in China. With Internet you can book on the fly but I have my Chinese visa (good for 40 days) and I plan to stay for at least 3-4 weeks. I will use trains for travel (Xian, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Hong Kong) and from there I am planning to go to Thailand and then on to Australia. Than from Australia to Hawaii to California.  I am planning to take lots of pictures and posting a lot. The good, the bad and the funny!!! Thank you all for keeping my brood of cats and me in your thoughts and prayers so please keep me in your prayers and thoughts as I venture on this journey!!!
