Final Thoughts on Israel

Holy Sepulcher Church
I had an awesome time here and met some incredible young women.  It was inspirational to me knowing that these young women of today are strong, independent and are not afraid of venturing out alone.  I met young women from Canada, the US, France, Sweden, Australia and Slovenia all travelling by themselves.  They all have stories and listening to them inspires me.  I miss a few places here that I would like to have seen but if I come back I will definitely do the Dead Sea, Bethlehem and Masada.  I had a little awakening today as I went down to the old city for one last visit.  I was in the bazaar and for some unknown reason I saw these two men whispering and looking at me.  I didn't think anything of it at the time (I thought to myself they were market owners) but I was walking and felt a tug on my backpack and instinct took over I immediately turned around and these two guys started walking very fast past me.  My zipper on the bottom pouch of my day pack was opened but I checked inside and nothing was taken.  I had my phone and camera and room key in that pouch.  My wallet with my passport and credit cards were in another zipped pouch.  The pouch they tried to open is hard to open and when it tugged I knew something was wrong.  I just thank God they didn't take anything.  After that I put my backpack in front and held on it.  It is such a shame that something like that could have been a disaster with my passport stolen and my credit cards. I was just very lucky with God's angels watching over me.  I will certainly be more cautious from now on.  I just read the weather report for Tokyo, it is raining, oh well, I have warm clothes and my rain jacket so let see what will happen.

Life Challenge: But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust..... Jesus Christ
