As October is ending, my Kindle weather channels states "light showers", well, it has been pouring (and flooding) since midnight last night and it has not stopped. Doesn't anyone call anyone to see how the weather is or do they just make it up as they go along!!! Our beautiful Zaqatala summer has turned into winter (oh joy my favorite). I see the snow on the mountains and the temperature is dropping. This weekend will be our daylight saving time and that means, darker days earlier. Can't wait for that depressing time!! I've pulled out our PC issue Big Bertha sleeping bag for the couch and a heavy quilt for my bed. I just want to know "What happened to Autumn?" I was told that in our parks, the leaves change color (this doesn't happen in California) so I brave the cold (okay, not so cold, it warmed up) and walked to the park to take some pictures. Some of the pictures are trees that are hundred of years old and they decided to cut them down or parts of them, they are so beautiful it just broke my heart. I am trying to get involved with the Ornithological Society, they are suppose to have a branch office here. My goal is to save these trees and hopefully start an environmental program here. They must take care of their environment now or they will destroy it for the future generations.
