Life in Azerbaijan

Hi All:

Just wanted to share some of the pictures of Azerbaijan.   The first ones are when I got to Baku and we stayed in a hotel near the Caspian Sea. The lady you see is our in country Peace Corps Director.  Please note Jerome next to my medical kit.  That kit is my best friend.  The last few are of  my host family home, my room and  shared "bathroom".  Modern convenience it is NOT. There is only one other room besides my room and the kitchen and that room has 6 people sleeping in it!!!  I feel bad that I am taking their room.




Just a note, today as I was leaving to go to the "Big City", someone let the chickens out.  So I am running up and down the street collecting them and putting them back in the yard.  I had to laugh, I had not done this since I was a little girl.
